The normal of Office PC, is that any Objects, other than text are automatically Compressed and stays that way from Beginning to end. Thus you have the smallest most compact size possible. Mac on the other hand was designed to decompress any non Text Objects. Thus, say on a PC an object saved as a jpg(jpeg) file is 250KB in Size. On a Mac it might decompress to 500KB to 1 MB. (PNG Format is a Lossless format and decompression size might go from 250Kb to maybe 300KB-400KB or less) So you suddenly go from a file that all totalled with one image might be say 100Kb on PC, when opened on a Mac could end up dependent on DPI settings and size for width/height is 8 x 10' could end up as large as say 1MB in size.
