An Awesome Dupe For Mac
Everyone these days are on a tight budget, and since everyone loves a good dupe, I highly recommend NYX Round Lipglosses as a dupe for the MAC Cremesheen lipglosses. I originally did a awhile back on the NYX round lipglosses and I do love how inexpensive they are ($1.99+ and you can find them on for $2) and they are very pigmented in just one swipe! I also have heard that NYX has reinforced their packaging because before the stopper would come off so you were left with globs of gloss on your wand. So that's a plus! Many of the NYX round lipglosses I noticed are matte, no shimmer or glitter, just a nice sheer matte color- similar to that of the MAC Cremesheens. They also have some that have a touch of shimmer. Of course they are not exactly the same, but I think it's a very good dupe for those who don't wanna pay $18, and also the Cremesheen lipglosses are LIMITED EDITION (and most of them are already sold-out according to the MAC website, department store websites and actual stores) where as the NYX round lipglosses are always available.

I think the differences among the two other than the price, is that the Cremesheens may stay on a bit longer than the NYX lipglosses as the NYX lipglosses seem more slippery. (I personally have not tried the Cremesheens but based on playing with it I can tell it's a bit more thick and stickier than the NYX lipglosses) so it probably stays on a lot longer. My favorite is the one called 'Haute', it's a nice soft baby pink.

Hi girls, today we have some awesome makeup dupes lined up! High-end makeup that is trending nowadays can be pretty darn expensive which is exactly why we have a list of budget-friendly makeup dupes for you! Prices in Pakistan vary (and are higher) from the original prices because they’re imported individually here, hence a little more expensive. But I’ll be comparing the original prices in US$ (US Dollars) in this blog so feel free to use a converter. I, personally, prefer to spend more on skincare and I struggle with makeup because my pockets run dry if I also spend too much on it. Recently I wanted to purchase a Kylie Lip Kit because of all the hype but those imported into Pakistan seemed way too expensive to me, hence I started researching and experimenting with several lip colors. Same goes for the Urban Decay Naked Palettes and Anastasia BH Lip Palette. So, with hours of research, I’ve been able to find some fool proof duplicates for myself and you guys and they’re just wow!
NARS Blush and Bronzer Duo in Orgasm and Laguna ($42) Dupe: ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzer Powder in St. Lucia ($8) OHMYGOD, these two are so similar. The only difference is that NARS is slightly more pigmented.
However, the overall outcome is mindblowing. Like you can barely tell them apart! No need to spend $42 when you’re getting the exact thing in $8. Kylie Jenner Matte Liquid Lipstick in Posie K (single for $17) Dupe: Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Clueless ($6) So I literally found my savior in Colourpop Cosmetics because they have almost the same colors as Kylie’s lipsticks and they’re super reasonable! There is however a very slight difference in the colors with Posie K being a tad bit darker but that’s all! I love the texture of the lipstick and it stays on for a pretty long time too.
MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15 ($28) Dupe: Loreal Infallibe Pro-Matte Foundation ($13) MAC Studio Fix is a great foundation, provides full coverage and controls all oily skin disasters whilst it’s on. But so does the Loreal Infallible Pro-Matte that slides onto your skin ever so smoothly! It feels so light and it keeps that oil far, far away FOR HOURS! Almost half the price so my pocket said: TAKE MY MONEY! Very similar and outcome was great. Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita ($20) Dupe: NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Soft-Spoken ($7) Kat Von D is great, but NYX has got game!
I love how its matte lipsticks are so easy to apply and give off that expensive lipstick look in just a couple of hundred rupees! This is why when I saw Soft-Spoken, I knew I had to get it.
I had to wait almost two months to get it here in Pakistan, but it was worth the wait. It dries quickly and perfectly once applied but doesn’t show too much fine lines as matte lipsticks tend to do.
I love the color and it’s so so so similar to Kat Von D’s Lolita, but so much cheaper! Tarteist Pro-Glow Highlight and Contour Palette ($45) Dupe: NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette ($19) So I’ve tried both of these and believe me, NYX came through a million times better! It had better pigmentation and I felt that in the course of finding a dupe, I had actually found a much better product than Tarte’s palette.
It has more shades and much more amazing results. I mean just look at the difference in their prices! So go get this Strobe of Genius! I love makeup dupes so much more when I find such outstanding products! Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper ($20) Dupe: NYX Epic Ink Liner in Black ($8) Kat Von D’s eyeliner is pretty rad. It’s got great precision and I love how it can be applied onto eye shadow very smoothly.
But what I also love is a cheaper eyeliner that can do the same work! This is where NYX Epic Ink Liner comes in. God, it’s just the same. Like there’s no difference. It’s pretty wet and easy to apply.
No problems and just $8. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($38) Dupe: Maybelline Master Fix by Face Studio Setting + Perfecting Loose Powder ($10) Aha!
I’ve found the loose powder to top the boss of all translucent powders! Maybelline Master Fix is great to settle down all your makeup and give a neater look to your face. It works just like the Laura Mercier powder and mattifies your face for a flawless finish.
Overall the comparison was great without adding any extra weight. No difference. Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Redrum ($18) Dupe: NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick in Kitten Heels ($7) All I wanna say is why oh why waste $11 more on something you can get for cheaper! The NYX formula is amazi. It’s creamy, it’s matte and so much easier to apply! In most ways I found much better than Jeffree Star’s lipstick formula.
